Questions
Is the resume builder free?
Yes. Typing your details, trying all four templates and colors, and seeing the live preview is free. Downloading the clean PDF (no watermark) costs ₱1. If you download the exact same resume again within the retention period, it is free. Any change (even one word) counts as a new resume.
Will HR software (ATS) and job sites be able to read my resume?
Yes. Your PDF has real, selectable text — not a picture — so job portals like JobStreet and Indeed and company applicant tracking systems (ATS) can read it. For the most ATS-friendly result, use the Minimalist or Corporate template.
Is my information private?
Your resume is built inside your browser. Your details and photo are never uploaded to our servers. Your draft is saved only on this device so you can continue later. Tap “Clear” to delete it.
I closed the page. Is my resume gone?
No. We auto-save your draft on this phone or computer as you type. Open the Resume Builder again in the same browser and it comes back. Drafts are not shared between devices, and clearing your browser data deletes them.
Should I add a photo?
Many employers in the Philippines still ask for one, so the Modern and Fresh Graduate templates can show your photo. Use a clear, formal photo with your face in the middle — we crop it to a centered square. For jobs abroad (US, Canada, UK, Australia) it is usually better to leave the photo out.
I'm a fresh graduate with no work experience. What should I write?
Pick the Fresh Graduate template — it puts Education and Skills first. Add your OJT or internship, school organizations, thesis, part-time work and volunteer work under Work Experience. List TESDA certificates, seminars and online courses under Certifications.
A4 or Letter size?
A4 is the common paper size in the Philippines and most countries. Choose Letter (8.5×11 inches) only if the employer asks for it, for example some US companies.
Why did the ₱ sign or an emoji disappear?
To keep the PDF readable by every computer and ATS, the resume uses standard fonts. These fonts support ñ, Ñ, é and other accented letters, but not emoji. The peso sign (₱) is written as “PHP” instead, and emoji are left out.
